Home to the world-famous Oyster Festival, Galway Races and International Arts Festivals, Galway is awash with culture including a vibrant Irish music scene, authentic Irish pubs, Supermacs (go on, look it up!)…all things quintessentially Irish.

Given its position on the Western seaboard of Ireland, Galway has a rural rawness about it that makes it many people’s favourite city to visit; perhaps that’s because this historic city of culture offers convenient access to rugged, mystical Connemara, the awesome Aran Islands, and even the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare.

Suffice to say then, for anyone interested in photography, the arts, culture (that could be Irish pubs remember!), or the great outdoors, Galway is a city that has to be experienced to be believed.

When we arrived in Galway we were 4 optimistic people, 4 suitcases, many ideas, two Master’s Degrees along with some savings aside, not much, for the truth is – we were 4, including two kids!
We were open to any job opportunity as we knew we wanted to settle down here. It was a tough couple of months until we realised the opportunity for us was always there! After studying the local market we found a company who helps people move abroad operating in the likes of Cork, Dublin & London.

We were in that situation before, not just from our first travels to Galway but from our past experiences when we traveled to Argentina, Chile, and Thailand. We know exactly how it feels to pick up your belongings, leaving your home to move to a new and different country. It can be a daunting experience but we want people travelling to Galway to feel at home, just as we felt!

At that point, we made a very important decision, to start a collaboration with EazyCity.

Instead of being 4, we are now 6 people working in our office by Eyre Square, making #LifeChanging worthwhile experiences in Galway come true!
